By feeding them this delicacy, they were finally able to talk to the Gremlins and explain why they tore down their home and that it was to save their homes from all being destroyed.
There is no glossary or forward or extra piece of writing that will help children understand and access this story, except a complicated introduction written for adults. I love the concept of this book, and generally Dahl’s books are amazing.
