Driver Education is a self-sustaining program offered by the Seaford School District for students who have attained the age of 16 and have obtained a valid NYS Drivers Permit. The cost of the program is $475. Tuition is determined so as to not be a burden to the school district budget.
There are three semesters per year. The first semester begins in early July. The second semester starts in late September, and the third semester is the spring semester which begins in early February.

As per New York State Education Department and DMV mandates, the program must meet for 24 classroom hours (16 sessions) and 24 driving hours (16 sessions). All sessions are 90 minutes each. In-car instruction and lecture times vary per semester.
Registration is by mail or in person. Forms may be picked up in the high school main office or printed off the Driver’s Ed. website beginning approximately 30 days before each semester is scheduled to start. Contact Mr. Frank Maniscalco at fmaniscalco@seaford.k12.ny.us for further information.

'When I came to OSNAS freshman year, I was considered the 'new kid,' and the faculty as well as my peers accepted me with open arms. The education I received at OSNAS was exemplary and I could not have asked for better teachers. At OSNAS you are not just considered another student, you are genuinely cared for. The infusion of Christianity into the education given at OSNAS is beneficial in creating well-rounded students. OSNAS was truly a blessing in my life.'
Robert Maxwell - Class of 2009'The Lord has used Our Savior New American School in my life to provide an excellent education which was taught through a Christian world view. It has effectively challenged me in my academic growth, while providing opportunities to learn more about my Lord and Savior.'
